Good years day?

Random acts of kindness could mean a great year ahead.

As today has the exact same energy as the year, it provides a snapshot of the Water Snake year ahead. Further, today's hour signs exactly match the months so if overall you have a tough day, but your fortune changes in a particular hour, perhaps you have a month to look forward to?

Let’s put this methodology to the test as we use the relationship between the day and the hour to see how society may fare this year.  The hours are based on local time, so use the clock in your home to see the trend of each hour/month below. As we mostly sleep during the night we will liken our rest period to a bear’s hibernation and start our year in April, which corresponds to average waking time of 7am – 9am.

  •  April; in society terms there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel and people should start to awake from the doom and gloom, or possible nightmares that they may have found themselves in. It’s generally good for wealth, recognition and working together with a team spirit.
  • May; (9-11am), as this is also a Snake month here are today's recommendations, which should also be good activities for the year. They include meditating or honouring ancestors, asking for blessings, visiting friends, buying or making clothes, opening a business and trading, buying or setting direction for your bed and cooking.
  •  June; (11-1pm) in terms of society should be good for setting laws and regulations, and investments in land and property.
  • July; (1-3pm) great month for Horse signs. For all others, expect lots of travel and leisure deals. It’s especially good for personal development or taking a course.
  • August; (3-5pm) many of last month’s trends continue to develop and this is an especially good time to seek advice. There is a possibility of further global bailouts.
  • September; (5-7pm) governments continue to dominate the news and it may be an unusually cold month. Elsewise, it’s good for team work and forming partnerships.
  • October; (7-9pm) is a bit of struggle but you will be able to find out who your friends really are and teamwork pays dividends.
  •  November; (9-11pm) will probably be the most interesting period as it will see the end of an old regime or methodology and a completely new understanding or beginning.
  • December; 11-12am as just stated, a new start for society begins.

It should be noted that these trends are very general and refer more to a society level rather than an individuals. Nevertheless, it does offer an interesting experiment of comparing what might appear as random acts of fortune with today's hours and the forthcoming months.

See our dedicated Water Snake web page for our annual predictions, or if you have a Water Snake in your horoscope, or to see how this qi will affect you. Although our office is open as normal, we will be taking a spring break from our daily blog and will return on 9th April. Until then, enjoy every moment of NOW!

It’s Tigertastic?

Although it’s a Water Dragon day in a Rabbit month, those born under the influence of the Tiger sign will have such a memorable day, I’ve invented a new word - Tigertastic. As an encounter with a Tiger can be beautiful, caution must be observed to avoid calamity. In a similar way, depending on the equilibrium of your Chinese horoscope, today can be spectacularly good or fantastically bad.

This Chinese astrology information is used in a feng shui consultation to balance this flow by making the following recommendations:
·         Position or placement, that is sitting in the most appropriate and beneficial part of your home to suit functionality and your energy needs.
·         Direction, once the space is found, having you sit, face or sleep in your most favourable directions to not just balance but also inspire and empower.
·         Performance, from analysing your energy we can even tell you which job, vocation or activity will bring you the most satisfaction and happiness in life generally or at any given time.
·         Dietary, it is said that you are what you eat and we can even tell you what foods and flavours are best suited to you.
·         Aesthetics, power dressing plus, we can also tell you which colours will motivate, inspire, relax and attract fame, fortune and relationships to you.
·         Atmosphere, once your energy is understood, Feng Shui can offer advice to create the perfect nurturing atmosphere for you, your family or staff in your home and office.

Consequently, people that live in homes or work in offices that have been feng shuied do not need to worry too much about the triple alignment that occurs today. However, we offer advice for those yet to try this sometimes life changing and definitely life enhancing experience.

The alignment occurs as the day (Dragon), and month (Rabbit) signs combine with the Tiger to bring a huge wood element influence. If beneficial it can bring fantastic, no make that “Tigertastic” opportunities for making life or long term strategic decisions and can greatly improve, personal wealth, relationships, recognition, and authority. However, if it upsets the flow, this wood influence can bring enormous anger, frustration and pressure. Let’s see how you will be affected.

First you may need to see if you have a Tiger in your chart and the best and easiest way to do this is to use our free Chinese horoscope. Secondly, you will need to know where it appears, as this will show you where and who will be affected by this triple alignment.
Next use our attribute cycle, also free, to see what will be affected in terms of wealth, power, creativity, relationships, or support. You might want to pass this blog onto a friend or family member to see if they are “Tigertastic” too.

If it turns out to be a grrrreat day, remember who told you first. However, if your patience begins to be sorely tested, you can try using the fire element to cure and there is lots of information on our site as to how to do this. Alternatively and especially if symptoms (annoyance) persists, you might consider having a professional astrology reading.

Having hopefully averted any problems, let’s return to the Water Dragon day. The Feng Shui almanac recommends letting off steam by travelling, preparing for better times ahead by tidying up loose ends in your home or office or personally by having a haircut. It advises against opening a water feature.

If Water Dragon is in your Chinese horoscope or if you want to see how all other signs are affected today, please see our dedicated web page. We will return tomorrow and until then, enjoy every moment of NOW!

Let the dog see the rabbit?

Dog day in a Rabbit month the feng shui almanac finds today's most successful daily activity.

Today’s title is a phrase that traditionally refers to finding purpose. This seems perfectly appropriate as it’s not only a Dog day in a Rabbit month but we translate the feng shui almanac to find the most successful daily activity.

As Dog and Rabbit form a special combination and are highly compatible, it is a good day especially for partnerships. Today favours travelling to meet friends, meditating and getting engaged or married. Honouring ancestors, asking for blessings, emigrating, refurbishing a home or office, laying foundations, buying or setting direction for your bed, planting seeds or fixing nets are also auspicious. Whilst fixing the loo, or a fire and eating certain Chinese delicacies; not so much.

The fire formed by the special combination between Dog and Rabbit is also well timed as today is a Fire Dog day. If your Day Pillar has this influence, you are extremely generous to those close to you and can express yourself easily. Of the five types of Dog, the Fire Dog is the most creative of all, so much so that they inspire all other Dog types too.

Fire Dogs can also be dedicated to public service or helping others. Being a pack animal, they would enjoy their friends and are therefore highly sociable. They have an uncanny knack for making money by “thinking outside the box”. Their physical features are generally square with angular faces and pointed extremities.

Famous Fire Dog examples are Swami Beyondananda, Cher, Deepak Chopra Timothy Dalton Matt Damon, Bill Gates, Joanna Lumley, Freddie Mercury, Dolly Parton, Alan Rickman, David Lee Roth, Steven Spielberg, Donald Trump, Jean Claude Van Damme, Kate Winslet and Yo Yo Ma.

We are really busy again tomorrow, so our blog will return next Tuesday. Until then, enjoy every moment of NOW!
