Moon “something” away is a common saying meaning to waste time pining or grieving. This seems most appropriate as today there’s a total solar eclipse and a New Moon. Although our ancient ancestors used to worry on these days, this double event last occurred May 20 2012 and the Sun has returned every day since. I am reminded that as “one door closes another opens”.
Speaking of which, the Chinese almanac doesn’t recommend
anything on this Earth Rabbit day, not even putting ones affairs in order,
