Hog hunting?

It could be an extraordinary day for those born under the Chinese animal sign of Pig, is this you?

The feng shui calendar lists today as a Metal Sheep day in a Rabbit month and that’s two parts of a Chinese astrology set. A Pig completes this triple alignment and was the inspiration behind our title. Consequently, if you were born between 9-11pm (local time) or from November 5^th – December 5^th, or in any Pig year such as 2007 and every 12 years before, you will have a Pig in your chart and that could make today extraordinary.

Rabbit month; gets off and running!

It’s a good day and the feng shui almanac is probably smiling with its auspicious horseshoe like symbol. Suitable activities are said to include meditating or honouring ancestors, travelling, getting married, having an astrology reading, emigrating, opening a business and trading, fixing a roof or burial duties. Whilst, fixing nets, bathrooms, clothes or laying foundations are not so good.

It’s a Metal Horse day, hence the mention of “off and running” in our title. People born under this influence have high ambition, yet keep their emotions in almost complete check and exude a calm exterior. To balance their energies they need the earth element, which makes feng shui very important. This allows them to reach out and touch someone and express their fears and aspirations. 

Earth energy is naturally found in the northeast and southwest corners of our homes and can also be found by wearing natural earth colours such as creams, beiges, browns, pale oranges and yellows. It also relates to a “sweet tooth”. Metal Horse people may also have a great fondness for cheese, just ask Chelsea Clinton (day), Jeff Beck, Dan Brown, Gary Busey, Sean Connery, Ronnie Corbett, Ray Davies, Clint Eastwood, Steffi Graf, Hugh Laurie, Lionel Richie, Boz Scaggs, Meryl Streep and Kathleen Turner.

At 12:50pm GMT we will enter the Rabbit month; particularly good for Pig, Sheep and Dog signs, yet makes life more interesting for those born under the Rooster influence. Until April 6^th the most successful Feng Shui energy is found within the east of our homes, although this might need separate balancing with fire energy. It will certainly need to be activated with water which creates a high energy spot; the true meaning of feng shui.

However, without a professional consultation to analyse what else you will be activating, monitor the effects and if life suddenly makes a marked improvement keep the water running for the duration. If anything untoward occurs, switch off your water straight away and consult a professional consultant for a feng shui consultation. 

Actually, a Feng Shui consultation would be highly appropriate today as it’s also a “Fix” day in the 12 palace system and a “Room” day in the lunar mansions, which would make the results last much longer than a month. But don’t take our word for it; let fate take a hand on this Fix Room day!

Get the winning Streak

Well what do you know; it’s a Tiger day in a Tiger month and guess what? A collection of Tigers is called a “streak”, hence the inspiration behind today's title.

According to the feng shui or Chinese almanac, winners today are those who visit friends, get engaged, have an astrology reading, buy or make clothes, open a business and trade, sign contracts, collects debts, fix a roof, chop wood, go hunting, or set up a tombstone. Non winners can be seen trying to meditate (today only), refurbish their kitchen or set up a kiln.

Today is actually a Fire Tiger and if you were born on a Fire Tiger day, you should be vibrant, with great expression, a killer sense of humour and even prosperous, especially between the ages of 30 – 45 years.
