PigTail day?

Today is a Wood Pig day in the Chinese calendar and a Tail day in the 28 lunar mansions, so how can it be anything other than a Pig Tail day? One of the outstanding talents of a Wood Pig is an ability to thrive in a competitive environment and the Chinese almanac duly suggests opening a business, trading or taking a course today.

Other favourable activities include meditation or honouring ancestors, asking for blessings, travelling, buying or making clothes, emigrating, refurbishing a home or office, laying foundations, fixing a roof and hunting as potentially the most successful activities.

Meanwhile in the Twelve Palaces it’s a Fullness day, marking the first of a three day event in which it’s excellent to organise events, go on long journeys or move house. Wedding receptions, fetes, galas and fairs are all bound to be successful today. One should avoid anything to do with gardening or agriculture though.

To see how your own Chinese zodiac sign fares, please see our dedicated Wood Pig web page. We will return tomorrow on a Fire Rat day which will herald the start of new power cycle. Until then, enjoy every moment of NOW.
