Rain gathering - Water Dragon day

According to ancient Chinese legend the Sage or Emperor would petition the Water Dragon to send rain to grow their crops. We can get similar prosperity today as today’s Dragon forms a partnership with the monthly Chinese animal for December, namely the Rat. With the exception of anything to do with water structures or fishing most things are favourable especially partnerships . This can be with your partner in terms of getting engaged, swapping gifts or getting married. With your inner self for meditation, or your maker in asking for blessings, travel and emigration especially to take or make wine with friends, with customers by opening a business and trading, with your home in refurbishment, moving earth and fixing roofs or getting a new oven. Burials are even favourable.

Today’s Water Dragon day should mean that all earth signs including Sheep, Ox and Dog have wealth opportunities and can easily manage their affairs. Although, Dog signs are clashed and need to be careful of over extending themselves.

Next year’s glimpse day

As yesterday had the same energy as this year, today’s Metal Rabbit has the same qi as next year. It therefore provides a glimpse into 2011 and how you will fare. Silver Tiger “sliver” Moon?

Today’s Metal Tiger day perfectly matches the annual qi and with a lunar eclipse due tonight, I have similarly matched a type of metal with a narrow portion to entitle today’s blog. That’s what happens when you start your day with a crossword puzzle over breakfast!

When pigs fly!

I just saw on the news that somebody called the emergency services to report that their snowman had been stolen, due no doubt to the embellishment of £2 pound coins used for eyes and buttons. If that sounds like a “when pigs fly” day here is another.

If you had to assign one of the five elements to the action of flying, it must surely be fire, why? Well firstly, the sky or more specifically light is fire. Secondly, heat generated by an object moving through space, the frantic action of a Hog suddenly finding itself unsupported in the atmosphere, not to mention hysteria from the sheer experience are all assigned the fire element too. So what would you do on this Fire Pig day? Well being a Pig day in a Pig month the answer should be quite reflection, pampering and not a lot else.

Pigs are prominent today, hence the previous paragraph and we hope nobody took offense. Snake signs would normally be under duress as they clash on these days, but owing to a combination with the annual Tiger qi to bring an element of wood, it is mostly self-curing. However, should they feel pressurised then wearing green or light blue colours would help them.

Red Dog day?

As red is associated with fire, today’s title is a rough allusion to the Fire Dog sign. Starting of with a timid attempt at humour should tell you that today is less than auspicious. That said, it is a time of interacting with nature and providing for our families and futures, therefore making wedding plans, settling accounts, building a home or dyke and preparing nets for fishing. In modern day parlance, it is probably also a good day for the weekly shop.
